Many people in the western hemisphere confuse Asians i.e. Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese.  In fact, China had an immense influence on the other Asia societies. Show how this occurred.

Although you text does not indicate and you will have to explore supplemental information, why did some parts of the Pacific become home to grand civilizations and other areas held modest societies still in the Paleolithic era.  For example Australia, New Zealand, Papue New Guinea, the Phillipines, and Oceania are not even mentioned in your texts.  Why were they unknown to Europe, Africa, Mainland Asia, and the Americas?
