This is what my professor said when revising my essay.

When you use any of the author's original words, you must utilize quotes and in-text citations. I understand that students often think that paraphrasing means mixing your own words with the author's original words and providing an in-text citation. On the contrary, paraphrasing requires that you utilize your own words and none of the author's original words unless they are in quotes. Paraphrasing also requires the use of appropriate in-text citations. Your final draft should reflect as much of your own words as possible. I have attached your assignment. The sections in red must be revised.
