This is the second time my toe nail has done this. Around the cuticle area my nail will start turning a brownish/redish color and sometimes will cause discomfort in that area where it is discolored. Over time the discolor grew out some on my nail, and a new nail was growing behind, I started noticing that the old nail wasn't coming off and the new nail wasn't growing anymore, after looking further at my toe, I could see where the new nail was actually growing underneath the old/discolored area. I haven't injured my foot or toe in anyway that I know. I'm curious as to why this is happening. I'm on my feet working approx. 72hrs a week.
