This is my first outbreak , I was given acyclovir 400mg 3x a day , for 10 days , then I have to go back to the dr . After I take all this, am I going to have to take something every day or just when I feel an outbreak? My parents don't know about anything & I'm having to pay for everything w/o insurance , which is very stressful . I just want it to clear up , so much pain .

After this , what else should I take?
