2.1 Purpose
• To analyse the current situation of Gorilla Health Bars pty ltd in terms of their approach to Sustainability.
• The aim of this report is to make some recommendations to the company on how to Incorporate more sustainable business practices which will benefit them in future.
2.2 Scope of investigation
• Information for this report has come from the following sources: company profile, company reports, Online books and other sources.
2.3 Methodology
The method used to research and compile this report includes: reviewing reports, books and different Journals focusing on barriers causing unsustainability to the GHB.
2.4 Key findings(suggestions to reach sustainability in three areas)
o Look to invest in solar panels and generate electricity. To reach the sustainability in high electricity bills problem.
o Pass the cost onto suppliers and consumers, if possible. To reach the sustainability in high water consumption problem.
o Move closer to the supplier region. To reach the sustainability in transport costs problem.
2.5 Conclusion and recommendations
Based on the available literature, GHB should do the following to adopt a more sustainable approach.
• High electricity bills problem will be solved by having own solar panel so that it can generate electricity itself and that would be cheaper.
• High water consumption could be solved by passing the cost on suppliers and consumers.
• Transport cost can be reduced by shifting to suppliers region.
