This essay should be:

1. a full essay on an Artists provided on the list below, with intro, conclusion, multiple paragraphs, details, examples, etc.

2. It should be properly formatted MLA style, and include a Works Cited page and proper in text citations.

3. The paper should be approximately/at least 1500 words, double spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font and MLA style citations. (The Purdue OWL website is also a great resource. )

4. The paper should make use of at least two proper scholarly sources (NOT Wikipedia or the like, but reputable sources; see the Paper Resources section).

5. You also need to include at least one photograph of the work in question.

6. NO PLAGIARISM!!!!!

In the course of the paper, you should discuss the biographical and artistic information about the artist;

a) the history of the work

b) the cultural context of the artist/work

c) also analyze the work using the formal elements we discussed earlier.

Any info that isn't common knowledge and procured from an outside source needs to be cited properly, both in the text and in a Works Cited page.
