This assignments is related to contemporary business law issues. As a means of establishing relevancy of course concepts and curriculum, you will be required to provide a summary of an article about a business law current event. One of the objectives of the assignment to have students think critically about contemporary issues in business law. This is an opportunity for you to focus on how you can effectively make a positive impact in the field. Ultimately, through a greater
understanding of business law, I challenge you to view yourself as growing leader of the profession.

* This assignment must refer to a news article published after January 2018 and tied back to course content.

* You must print out the news article and attach it to your report. Sources allowed include: The Associated Press (AP), C-SPAN, Reuters, the BBC, or any local San Diego major news organization. Include the source information at the end of your summary.

* There is a strict 2- page maximum limit. Justified margins suggested.

* Your written responses will be graded on: (a) organization (is there an introduction, logically ordered paragraphs and a conclusion); (b) effort (how long is the response and does it show evidence of study); (C) critical thinking and analysis (do you use data and/or facts to support or dispute assertions from the course curriculum): and, (d) clarity (style, grammar, punctuation).
