Case Scenario: Executive Summary

Arabic Café (fiction), a cyber café located in Al Qurum, Muscat offers a perfect spot for the public in social gathering and leisure. It provides customers free access to the Internet as well as an area to meet together in a casual environment in an affordable manner.

The business intends to obtain finance from the bank for the amount of OMR8, 000, which will be used for commencing work on shop renovation, IT equipment purchases, and as operating cash flow. Preliminary capital injection has already been secured by the initial owners, Norman Salmorin and Pitche Salmorin, with the amounts of OMR20, 000 and OMR15, 000 respectively.

Arabic Café planned to add new partners and will be formed as a limited partnership company. The three owners will be the partners and their personal liabilities will be subject to a ceiling at the amount of their respective investments.

The finance acquired through a business proposal will allow Arabic Café to successfully open and operate as a cyber café. A comfortable and innovative environment is provided to the customers with a simple and traditional, but pleasant atmosphere. The operations in year one generated Arabic Café a regular customer base that will allow it to be self-maintained in the next year of operation.
