This assignment is a two-part exercise designed to increase the student's awareness of their own emotions, the emotions of others and the effects emotions have on our ability to communicate effectively.

You have the next few weeks in which to complete the assignment. Therefore, I would suggest that you do PART A - "Observing One's Own Emotions" by tracking and documenting the details of those observations using the provided excel spreadsheet. Note you want to document a minimum of 4 entries per day over a minimum period of 7 days including weekend observations. The more data you document, the easier you may find it to analyze noting particular patterns of behaviours.

OUTCOME - to successfully identify and analyze your own emotions through observing and recording your emotions over a minimum of 7 days (including a weekend) with a minimum of 4 entries per day (total - minimum 28 entries or more if desired).
