According to the reading Oral Presentation Skills, "there are always visual components to a presentation, even if you're simply standing at a podium. Consider whether to employ projected backdrops, with multimedia and charts, if it can enhance a written report, it may enhance an oral one". I like the idea of a backdrop; I think this will draw your audience attention. What do you think?
4. Comment on this - When enhancing presentations, I never knew that the fonts and colors were so important. I thought that making a presentation as flashy as possible was the goal. Now I know that being flashy takes away from the speaker. So now I also know that when I am presenting, that the slides are just highlights of what I am saying, and it's the not the whole presentation itself. So the key is to keep it simple, not to wordy and not too flashy but keep it interesting.
