There will be two separate observations required for this assignment. One is based on observing family roles and the other is based on observing individuals engaged in conflict. Both topics will be combined in one paper.  Both topics will begin by describing a situation in which you observed an interaction between two or more individuals. Begin your topic by describing the specific environment that this interaction took place, and any other details that you feel might be important to this specific observation (for example, time of day, background noise, cultural influences, etc). Then complete the following:

1) Describe and analyze a situation in which you observed at least two individuals clearly playing out their "family role". Explain what the situation and what was happening. Describe the roles. Support your analysis (use the book for reference).

2) Describe and analyze a situation in which you observed at least two individuals engaged in conflict. Explain the components. What was happening,-did you observe any "problematic behaviors" utilized during this interaction ? Any possible triggers? Support your analysis with evidence.
