The theme of our final project is creating meaningful change. What is going on in your family life that you would like to improve upon, plan for, address, or solve?

With this question in mind, the goals of the project for this course include

(1) reflecting on personal family experiences and relationships,

(2) identifying theoretical perspective(s) to help you better understand that communication pattern/event/relationship,

(3) interviewing family members about your topic, and

(4) concluding with a hypothetical "plan of action" to address the issue within your family.

I will provide a separate handout with specific guidelines for the paper and we will discuss the project in greater depth in class.
