THE Report
The CEO of your company has asked all staff, at all levels and in all departments, to feedback to the company's future planning to improve their business processes within the organisation. The CEO sees each team member as an expert at what they do in the department they work in. As you have a particular interest in retail information systems (yes, yes ...you do after today!!!), you have chosen to concentrate on this aspect of the value chain that pertains to your daily work. In other words, you are going to advise on where there is value to be added by employing technology to make your department (and therefore the organisation) leaner and more efficient.
Submission of THE Report:
1. No word count is set for this report but the CEO will not read anything more than one A4 sheet and learns more from clever diagrams and charts than text.
2. The CEO has good eyesight but gets frustrated if squinting is required to read the text i.e. no smaller than size 10/11ish in a sans serif font.
3. References, graphs, additional information, etc. should be included in an appendix at the end that will support the findings of the A4 report.
