The purpose of Keirsey Sorter is to determine your individual personality as an aid to becoming an effective manager. This will reveal if you are an Artisan, Guardian, Rational, or Idealist. This has been used at many Fortune 500 companies for career development. You will take the Temperament Sorter on the website www.keirsey.com. Directions: Go to www.keirsey.com . On the home page you will find two (2) buttons that you will use. Click on the button for "Take the Keirsey Sorter." There is no charge for this and you will receive a determination on your personality type. YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO TAKE ANOTHER STEP FOR WHICH THERE IS A CHARGE. THIS IS NOT REQUIRED. Return to the Keirsey home page and click on "The Four Temperaments." Explore the temperaments, the famous people who are listed under your temperament, and the results of your sorter analysis. Write a brief analysis of the results, confirm or rebut the temperament type form your sorter, and explain how the attributes of your temperament could make you an effective manager. Submit your results to the Keirsey Sorter Discussion Board to discuss with fellow students.You will be graded 15 points for your assignment submission and 10 points for your discussion participation. MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT YOUR ASSIGNMENT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE DISCUSSION.
