The problems between gender socialization and gender stratification

Have you ever wondered why men and women behave in different ways with certain things? Well the answer to your question is something that men and women go through is called gender socialization, which just means that they have certain roles that they need to play in their life. The role for a little boy is to be raised to become a man, and once he becomes a man the childish things he used to do, he can't do anymore. The man is also raised up to be a respectful man and to never put his hands on a woman. Vice versa, the woman is the same way, the role for a little girl is to be raised to become a beautiful, smart, and responsible woman. The next role for her is to know her worth, because when a woman knows her worth that makes her feel like she has the power to overcome anything, because she is not going to let anyone treat her any kind of way. As far as the social roles in men and women life, a man is not going to talk to a woman any kind of way as if he has no respect for her, and a woman is not going to talk to a man any kind of way as if she has no respect for him. Men and women base their gender socialization off their lives and what goes on in them.

Men and women also act different because they go through gender stratification which means that men are more aggressive than women so they are going to fight much harder than a woman will. Also since a man is stronger than a woman, he will feel the need that he needs to be controlling over that woman, and continue to beat and abuse her until she cannot take it anymore and decides to call the police, but once he goes to jail and get out, he is going to come back for his revenge. I personally think that men deal with gender stratification more than a woman does, because their social power status would be much higher than a woman, and a man's physical power status would be much higher than a woman.
