The political tactic that occurs quite frequently at my place of work is the Attack and blame tactic, which is the strategy that one manager or employee blames that another manager or employee is the source of the problems that occur at work. This situation happens a lot at my work between the managers and employees on the different shifts blaming one another that it was the previous shifts fault for the bad products were trying to produce, like it was 1st shifts fault that 2nd shift had to work with bad parts before shipping them out.

Do you believe that this type of behavior really helps the manager motivate his/her team to complete their assigned task? When one is held accountable how is the morale of the department? Any thoughts?
