Q. Courts Distributors needed two hundred compact refrigerators on a rush basis. It contacted Easting house Corporation, a manufacturer of refrigerators. Easting house said it would take some time to quote a price on an order of which size. Courts replied, ‘Send the refrigerators immediately also bill us later.' The refrigerators were delivered three days later, also the invoice ten days after which. The invoice price was $140,000. Courts believe which the whole- sale market price of the refrigerators is only $120,000. Do the par- ties have a contract? If so, illustrate what is the price? Explain.
