The goal of this assignment is research information regarding the MBTI test and to take a ‘free’ version of the test. As you research the purpose and uses of the test, investigate how it applies to team building and defining individual work styles.
Project managers need to create high performing teams and understand the work styles of their project team members. We will discuss these results in with Chapter 9.
You can google MBTI test free and discover several options for taking the MBTI like test. There are several Web sites that have different versions of the test and information on it, such as www.humanmetrics.com,www.personalitytype.com, myersbriggs.com, and www.keirsey.com.
Write a one- to two-page single-spaced paper with the following components: 1) Describe the MBTI test; 2) Analyzing your MBTI type, results and details; 3) Describe how this test could be used as a team building tool; 4) State your opinion of the MBTI exam and its potential use by a Project Manager.
