The Framers of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the 14th Amendment were determined to make sure that government at both the state and national levels would not get too powerful. They did this by directly and indirectly limiting power. Make an essay in which you discuss four ways they sought to accomplish this. Your answer should include one such limitation from each of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the 14th Amendment. Your fourth may be based upon any of those three. Use a real or hypothetical example to illustrate each.
