An understated form of racial discrimination in housing is racial steering. It take place when real estate agents show prospective buyers merely homes in neighbourhoods previously dominated by that family's race. This disrupts the Fair Housing Act of 1968. As-per to an article in Change magazine, tenants are a large apartment complex lately filed a lawsuit alleging racial steering. The compound is divided into two parts- Section A and Section B. The accusers claimed that white potential renters were steered to Section A, while African-Americans were steered to Section B. The following table shows the data that were presented in court to show the locations of lately rented apartments. Do you think there is sign of racial steering?
