1.Describe in one paragraph what is meant by a "homelike" environment.

2.Identify two aspects of a homelike environment as described by Margaret Calkins (module 5 "Creating Home in a Nursing Facility") that does not relate to the structure of the building (for example: being safe and secure). Article is attached. Why is this aspect of home important and what can you do as the administrator to make it happen?

3.Assume you have the authority and financing to build a long term care facility. Chose a type of facility (assisted living, nursing facility, post-acute rehab facility, etc.). Describe the facility you would build and if you would follow one of the models of design such as the Eden Alternative or Green House.
