The bowel and bladder are two organs in our human body that we usually control consciously, when trauma or disease arises, it is easy to detach these organs which lead to lose of control. When we use these functions of control it can be difficult and very stressful both physically and emotionally.

Explain two potential medical conditions (one for bowel and one for bladder) that can lead to loss of bowel or bladder function. Describe these conditions in detail, what the anticipated nursing interventions the LPN would be performing within the plan of care and what can be done to help restore function.
