The assignment is to write a review of Nike's success in meeting the vision for the women's fitness business. The review should include the following:

1. A minimum of 3-5 descriptors of the target market and provide detail about why the descriptors are important and/or significant. A descriptor may be considered an adjective describing the target market (more information regarding descriptors is below.) For example, writing that a particular market is large, while perhaps accurate, does not provide the requisite amount of detail. Write how large, percentage growth, areas of growth in the world, etc. Then write a few sentences about the importance and/or significance of the descriptor. As you perform your analysis, continuously ask yourself "why is the women's segment and descriptor important for Nike?"

Descriptors are not to be considered exercise activities such as dance, yoga, Pilates, etc. Descriptors are how one would define a particular target market. As you research you will identify adjectives such as sweat beauty, independent, social, different, etc. You will also identify quantitative information such as market purchasing power, sheer number of women, etc. Each of these is considered a descriptor.
