I want help getting started on the given assignment.

The assignment asks: describe how do you see cross-cultural connections in your life? To begin consider the given cultures: China, Japan, India, the Middle East and Native Americans. Now, consider the artistic, spiritual, political, architectural, and/or social structures of these communities. Have you joined with any of them? Try to base your response around this connection. This might take a little self-reflection.

I guess I am not too sure what is meant by connection. As well, I'm not sure how to structure this paper. I would like to have a strong introduction which describes cross culture and what is meant by cross-cultural connections. I think from there, I can try to self-reflect and figure something out with how I might connect with one of such cultures. I worked for a Native American tribe for some years; however I'm not sure how I would use that as a connection. As well, I am familiar with the Chinese culture as the majority of my friends are from China; however as well, I am not sure how I could connect this. Any advice would be really appreciated.
