The social marketing essay allows analysis of real world problems and the development of appropriately targeted, innovative and creative solutions using social marketing frameworks, techniques and approaches.

In this essay, your goal is to develop and provide recommendations on how a social marketing approach should be developed and managed to address an identified social issue or problem.

You should identify a social issue or problem. Three topics are suggested below. If you feel strongly about a different topic and wish to focus on it, please feel free to consult with your lecturer or tutor.

For introduction (background, rationale, significance of issues, etc.), you should research the problem either in contact with an organization or concerned citizen group and some research or through extensive desk (library and online) research. To assist you in organising your paper, you should prepare an outline of what you want to include in your paper, and what you need to do to get the information and how you want to present it. Make sure that you include everything listed in 'Description of Task' provided below.
