The 21st century has seen so proliferation in new technologies that offer new innovations. These innovations are not just mere improvements, but are "new to the world" concepts.

Study the concept of a "killer app." Select and summarize an example of the killer app in both traditional and on-line environments. Be sure to explain how the application changed society as a whole.

You may use an example from the text or one that you came up with independently. Either way, in 1-2 pages:

Explain the application. How was it brought to market or invented? What was the intention and what was its practical use?

How did this application change our society?

Make a hypothesis on how long you believe this application will be part of the everyday world. upport your hypothesis.
