Forum Assignment for the Week: 300 Words minimum

For this week's Forum, respond to the following: Our Forum Question this week tackles an age-old one in the addiction field: Should alcoholism be viewed as a disease?

There is a Point/Counterpoint discussion in your text and you can certainly use that as a platform for jumping off with your ideas. Be sure to think critically about the question. What are the implications of viewing (or not viewing) this disorder as a disease?

Remember that all posts are graded for substance and thoughtful consideration of the forum topic.

Your post must also end with a "Question to the Class" - something related to the topic that you found thought-provoking and about which you'd like to know more and have further dialog.
