Tell us about a time when you experienced conflict in a group or team.  What was the cause? How was it handled?

What could have been done differently by either a group/team member or manager to prevent the problem, contain it sooner, or handle the situation better to lead to a better outcome?

(Remember to include information from Chapters 9 and 10 in your discussion. Also, stating one group/team member was the problem is too simplistic. It is usually the dynamic between group members, poor training, unclear goals, poor team selection, etc., not just one bad apple.
