Task 2:
Conduct assessment of a minimum of two candidates within the VET context and against different units of competency or accredited curricula, following the relevant assessment plan.
a. One candidate must be assessed for RPL
NB: If you do not have the opportunity to conduct RPL assessment in your workplace the following scenario may be negotiated with your facilitator:
• Pair with another student in your TAE class (this can be arranged online or face-to-face)
• You will be able to use this scenario for the units: Plan assessment activities and then implement the plan for this unit - Assess competence
• The evidence for RPL will be an assessment task from one of the other TAE units e.g. A Delivery or Design unit
b. Consideration of and reasons for reasonable adjustment must be shown for at least one assessment
c. An entire unit of competency must be covered
d. Review the assessment process in consultation with relevant people to improve future practice

Provide a report describing the approach to assessment including:
• Candidate characteristics, purpose and context of assessment
• Benchmarks for assessment
• The assessment plan
• Evidence and types of evidence needed to demonstrate competence
• Assessment methods
• The assessment instruments
• Reasonable adjustment strategies considered
• Communication process and evaluation of feedback from candidate(s)
• How judgment was exercised during the assessment process
• Organisational requirements for documentation and storage of assessment records and reports
• Results of assessment process review
