Task Description:
In My Humble Opinion (IMHO) is an online article, on a health services issue that you believe requires more attention, with the aim to publish into The Conversation* Your choice of topic is to be a health issue that you have experienced personally but you must present your health issue in a balanced, professional manner. You must place your health services issue in a broader health system context. At the end of the article, students are required to provided a brief professional biography to show your involvement in the health system. This profile is essential to forming a group for the group assessment task.
You must include a picture and use the checklist to complete the profile. You may link to more detail about yourself, your work or publications if you so choose. The extent of self disclosure is up to the individual but some personal sharing is essential in forming professional work teams. Reading about the Johari window technique here.
Please note that we are using the Wiki space for this assessment in order to give you space and to protect the article from deletion, etc.
1. Word Count: Minimum 700 words and no more than 1000 words, small captioned images and hypertext links are essential
2. No more than 3 sources are to be cited in your article (by using hyperfinks only) - your own experience and knowledge is more important
3. You must include a Headline (which will be your Subject Heading) and author attribution (you) and at least one relevant picture to the topic you are discussing
4. You can use First person but be careful not to use emotional, inflammatory or judgemental words,stay 11 professional
5. You must include a small biography and your photo (imbedded not just attached)at the end to identify yourself and your experience to the reader (not included in the word county

7. The Reference List at the end of the article will be Vancouver style (Author/Date) but you do not use this style for in-text citation, as you will be using hyperlinks instead.
