Supreme Court Case Assignment- American Government

• Pick a Supreme Court Case of interest to you.

• Read a summary of the court case.

• Type a one to two page paper that includes the following. (1) Brief summary of the case, (2) Points for and against in the case. (3) What was the court decision?, (4) Who were the Supreme Court Justices that were on each side? (5) Do you agree with the decision of the court? Why or why not? (6) Anything else you would like to add about the case.

• Type the paper double spaced with your normal English heading. Submit it by Friday on the Edmodo assignment. The paper will be worth 75 points. It will be graded on the following. (1) Does the paper follow the above guidelines? (2) Make sure all of the points are covered. (3) Make sure that it is double spaced with your English heading. (4) Make sure to include your viewpoint about the outcome of the case.
