Supervision Fundamentals, discusses the transition from a line employee to a supervisory role (please read before you post!). While this may seem simple (and desirable) to many workers, the realities of this change can be difficult and sometimes dramatic. Describe a time when you or one of your peers made the move to a supervisory position and what you observed and experienced during the transition (if you have not experienced this, you can comment on the experience and observations of someone you know). Was it difficult to adjust to the new role? Was it worth it? How did you and/or others react to the change? What might have made the change smoother for all parties?
