Supermarket Survey of Snacks

Pick one category of products at the supermarket. Something like Snacks or chips or crackers, beer, Soup, Frozen meals. Spend between 30 and 60 - include the date, time, and location on your tally sheet-minutes watching how people select which products they purchase. (This is probably easiest at a bigger store) Don't try to get all info. Ex: if your main interest is Fritos and someone looks at them and then goes to buy generic pretzel just record- "left for non brand, no sale, other product"

Make your own checklist to take with you; it should be similar to this and you can add more if it you'd like. Put a check next to each one that was important and add comments. You should be able to fit at least two subjects on each page. -Don't worry about missing some shoppers it is more important to get accurate info on a few (I'd say at least 10) Try not to look too strange and other than gender don't record anything personal about anyone.

Additional Requirement

This problem based on Marketing and it is survey that needs to be conducted at a supermarket on snacks such as chips, crackers, etc and find out what people like mostly with regards to demographics such as male, female, shoppers comparing brands, what did they buy, was it the lowest price, shopper knew what to buy from the beginning, etc. This is a sample collection to find the buying patterns.
