Submit an 8- to 12-slide presentation (excluding cover and References slides) of your proposed strategic approach to improve your selected company’s overall supply chain management (The company should be a telecommunications company, providing air time, data, mobile money transfer platform/ Econet Wireless)in order to foster positive social change and to promote the achievement and/or maintenance of competitive advantage. In your presentation, do the following:
• Craft a brief executive summary for your company’s leadership in which you describe your recommendations for your company’s supply chain management process in each of the following areas:
• Forecasting and Demand Management
• Business Processes and Their Integration
• Operations and Production Systems
• Inventory, Transportation, and Warehouse Management
• Outsourcing and Relationship Coordination Note: Be sure to include suggestions for strategic sourcing, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), ethics, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other suggestions you found appropriate, including considerations for positive social change in your supply chain plan.
• Explain the importance of the overall supply chain management process using scholarly literature, and describe how the effective use of your recommendations can help your chosen company identify key issues and effect positive social change.
• Synthesize the current and emerging business theories and/or practices that leaders might apply to their supply chain problems.
• Include a cover slide and References slide(s), as well as detailed notes on each content slide with relevant citations.
