3) Run the simulation experiment for at least 100 days. If you desire more accuracy, simulate for 1000 days. Determine the Average Time Between Breakdowns, Average Repair Tine, and Average Annual Cost.
4) Modify simulation model to reflect the proposed maintenance (preventive) system on Excel.
5) Run the modified simulation experiment for at least 100 days. If you desire more accuracy, simulate for 1000 days. Determine the Average Time Between Breakdowns, Average Repair Tine, and Average Annual Cost.
6) Develop the confidence limits at the 95% accuracy level for the Average Cost.
7) Plot the simulated results of Average Time Between Breakdowns, Average Repair Tine, and Average Annual Cost for at least 10 runs for both systems. Compare the results and discuss (refer attached sample).
8) Based on your results, which system would you recommend to the management of Bigelow and your reasons for doing so?
