Step 2. Find five specific "professional" job ads that are relevant to Mechanical Engineering Technology major area of study that you could potentially apply for. These must be jobs you are qualified for. So assume you have completed school, and are actually looking for real employment. Each job ad must be from a different source such as iup career center, direct company websites, Monster.com or Career Builder.com, local newspapers, professional organization site (AMSE, SME, etc.), etc. as some examples. THESE MUST BE JOBS THAT YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO APPLY FOR DIRECTLY RELATED TO YOUR DEGREE!!

Copy and paste each advertisement (scan or briefly rewrite newspaper ads or other non-computer related postings) into a word document (doc) and then write a critique of each of the ads. Review the type of qualifications, job titles, expectations, job requirements, degree requirements, and/or other pertinent information related to each posting. Take this info and explain to me why you would be able to apply for these positions.

Step 3. Add a summary of your findings about your job prospects.
