Special Populations Text:Burkholder, D. M., & Nash, N. B. (2013). Special populations in health care Review your classmate' posts.

Provide a substantive response (minimum of 100 words) Do you agree or disagree with your classmate' explanation of the appropriateness of the methods used for this group? What other regulatory, ethical, and/or legal issues might be present in your classmates' examples?

Jarod Discuss these methods and give one example of how each would be used when conducting research using homeless individuals as subjects. Analyze regulatory, accreditation, ethical, and legal issues and challenges related to each research method. Descriptive- Looks at the patients that need the most care.

The age group they focus on mostly on is the youth. Analytic research- Researches the youth on the behavior. Focusing on why they make bad decisions they could ruin their lives. They also look at ways to help the youth on acting in bad behavior. Evaluative research- They look at programs that can help the community overall. Helping the youth is important, because they are our future. They also look at behavior programs that can benefit the youth on changing their ways. I live in San Diego, California and are homeless populations has grown so much over the years it is pretty said. When it comes to Descriptive research methods the community looks how the can help these homeless people out. Pretty soon they are going to build shelters at one of the local stadiums parking to help the homeless with better living conditions.

When it comes to the analytic method the look at statistics on how many people are homeless, and how did they become homeless. Knowing the exact numbers is the only way the homeless can get help. Basically that will know how much funding they need to accommodate the homeless population. The last thing to look at is evaluative research. Programs, community outreach centers, and support will only decrease the homeless population.

If programs are not put in communities to improve the homeless they are a waste of time, and funding. Evaluation what works and what does not work will help community leader's present great programs to the government to get grant money. Lastly things can daily in our communities, but accommodating the need for everyone should be the main focus. When the homeless numbers are lower that creates less crime, diseases, and deaths every year.

This topic will always be the focus in each community, and only how things can change is if the government steps up to the plate and show that they care for every individual well-being. Reference: Burkholder, D. M., & Nash, N. B. (2013). Special populations in health care
