Someone has experienced that assuming simvastatin 5 mg. day have had little increase of CPK (174 U/L)? I suffer a Gilbert Syndrome and have a stabilized IgA (Berger) nephropaty. The strange thing is that with a minimal statin dosage the CPK has had this increase. I suffer also of little increase of uric acid until now the max value is been 7.89 mg/dL. I don't know if this little increase of uric acid can influence on CPK value. I also think that eventually statins therapy is not idoneous for kidney chric disease patients also if the disease is stabilized i.e. without proteinuria.
