Some analyst would argue that Google's higher value compared to the other search engines is because they have sold your privacy away to advertisers. Google's technological innovations have revolved around collecting user's information and being able to pass that information to its advertisers which are why they have cornered the revenues from big advertising investors. Critics argue that the actual search engine is not any better than Bing.
