So this week, I'd like you to find the most ideal place that you would like to live outside of the United States, based on the climate classifications listed in your book in chapter 10, and in the lecture. You will need to use a world map and the map of the Koppen Climate System in Appendix B, page A-7 and A-8 in your book. Please include all of the following details. Only one post this week - you do not need to comment on anyone's post.

1. What climate classification - choose from one of the categories in the book (ch. 10 and Appendix B, page A-7 and A-8) - be specific and include subcategories. For example, don't just say "Polar Climates", you need to include the letters and name of the subcategory.

For example: I would like to live in an ET-Tundra climate.

2. What specific place (country and city) would you like to visit or live that is within that classification (you may have to do some online searching - Make sure your location and classification match up)

For example: I would like to live in Skagastrond, Iceland which has an ET -Tundra climate.

3. Why does this climate and location appeal to you?

For example: If I had to live anywhere outside of the US, I think Iceland would be my ideal. Iceland is an ideal place to view the Auroras which I have always been interested in seeing. Skagastrond is of interest because it is a coastal city, so even though it would be really cold, I would also be able to see the beautiful ocean. The town is very rural and there is also a small residential community for artists. I think it would be really fun to live among artists. Maybe I will open up a small coffee shop in the town that caters to this community.
