SITUATION: The Winfrey Corporation is a recent entrant in the Chemical Reclamation Industry. Baxter Chemco Inc. is an established member of the same industry. Winfrey has a large management team but utilizes STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PLANNING. Baxter Chemco has a management team half the size of Winfrey and utilizes LONG RANGE PLANNING. Given the differences in management team size, industry tenure, and in particular the PLANNING approaches used by both companies, which ONE of these two companies would seem to have the greatest strategic advantage in the rapidly changing and expanding Chemical Reclamation Industry and briefly describe why:
