The objective of these questions, are to provide you with an opportunity to:
- Evaluate existing policies to determine their currency and relevance
- Evaluate current policy trends and their impact on policy development and complete research and consultation in accordance with organisation policies and procedures

Section 2 - Draft Policies

The objective of these questions, are to provide you with an opportunity to:
- Select and use policy formats and structures suited to policy users
- Draft policies that reflect the culture, values and objectives of the organisation
- Clearly and logically articulate policy requirements and other information that supports policy statements
- Develop plans for policy resourcing, implementation and review

- Modify draft policies according to outcomes of consultation
- Give sufficient notice to those affected by policy changes

The objective of these questions, are to provide you with the opportunity to:
- Prepare policy materials that support implementation and facilitate stakeholder understanding and acceptance of changes
- Present policy proposals to decision-makers according to organisation requirements and seek and gain formal approval according to organisation requirements

- Implement evaluation plan to ensure ongoing review of policies
- Obtain and respond to stakeholder feedback during marketing, promotion and implementation of policies and use learning to inform further review of policies

Section 6 - Knowledge Evidence

The objective of these questions, are to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the entire unit. This activity should be completed at workplace. You are to ask question 1-8 to your supervisor/ Centre manager and take notes. In response to the questions write down only brief notes that you have taken while discussing the questions with the supervisor/ Centre manager.

- First draft
- Consultation with stakeholders- how you gathered feedback from stakeholders
- Gathering feedback and making changes- what did you do with feedback
- Final draft
- Implementation- how you implemented policy
- Evaluation
