Scenario 1

Sana introduced a new self-service system in their pharmaceutical shops where customers could pick up goods required for them. Once they finish the collection of product then they have to move to the cash counter and make the payment. The Pharmaceutical Society of Oman brought an action to determine the legality of the system with regard to the sale of pharmaceutical products which were required by law to be sold in the presence of a pharmacist only.

Task 1:

1. Explain the important elements of a valid contract and examine whether those elements that are existing in the above scenario could form a valid contract?

2. Explain the term' invitation to treat'? Explain the invitation to treat in the above case with cited cases?

3. Explain other types of invitation to treat with decided cases in detail?

4. What do you meant by counter Offer? Applying decided cases, determine whether a request for information amounts to a counter offer?
