Please complete the following:
(1) What is your (qualitative) working thesis statement for the topic you want to evaluate?
(2) Who is your target audience for this evaluation, and in what ways might this audience potentially disagree with your stance? Who else would disagree with your stance (or provide counterarguments for it)? Why and how? Be specific.
(3) What 3-4 pieces of criteria will you use to evaluate this topic? Why is each appropriate for your target audience? Explain in a sentence or two for each.RWT exercise 1
Please list, along with a one-sentence explanation of each, six possible pieces of specific criteria you could use to evaluate each of two topics that you most want to use (twelve total pieces, in other words-six for each).
Then, answer this question for each topic: would your evaluation be mostly positive or negative?
Finally, for each topic, list out several different potential target audiences based upon your answer to the last question. Remember, there is no argument if your target audience would already agree with you for the most part.
