Review your classmates' posts. Provide a substantive response (minimum of 100 words) to at least two of your peers.

Are there any similarities and/or differences between available sources or alternative options? If so, please state the reasons why this may be the case. Christina The mental condition that I will be discussing is bipolar disorder.

With bipolar disorder also known as manic-depressive illness a person's brain causes them to experience changes in their mood, energy, and daily activities. By having this disorder a person is unable to function normally because of the different shifts of their mood.

The public financial resources that are available to a person with this disorder are the person's insurance company. The average cost of treatment for a person with bipolar treatment is ruffle $19,000.

Some patients turn to their insurance companies they will pay for the treatments if they are covered. Most insurance policies you have to add the option for mental health treatments so the treatments are covered.

Another option for patients with bipolar disorder is to receive funding such as supplemental security income and or the temporary assistance to needy families. This will help the patients will be able to use some of the funds for medical needs and for assistance with living because it is hard for a person of that stature to maintain employment.

The requirement of receiving the temporary assistance for needy families is that the person has to have a job and they do not recognize if a person has a disability.

With the insurance companies that person has to be diagnosed with a disorder and also have the special insurance that is used to assist the patients with the care that they need.

If the eligibilities and requirements are not met then the person will not be able to receive the assistance for these programs.

But they can try to find other programs that will assist them with living and medical expenses.
