I believe that the classroom procedures and rules, as one, is very important just the same as being available for the students. The classroom procedures and rules help to create a control over the students in the classroom. These procedures and rules help make sure that everyone understands what they are suppoed to do, how to act, line up, behave and what will happen if they do not follow the rules and procedures. A teacher who is available for his or her students is a teacher who becomes well respected, someone the students know they can count on, and also a teacher that shows they care about a student's success in school. This also relayed back to parents at home. The rules and procedures along with an open door, can create a great relationship between the student, teacher and parents. All three are necessary in the education of a child and play an important role in the student's success.
