Ron and Hermione wanted to tell Harry some big news—they were engaged. They told Harry to meet them in Hogsmeade at The Three Broomsticks pub. During the ride over, Hermione told Ron she was insistent on having some sort of prenuptial agreement but, in his casualness, Ron told her not to worry about it. Of course they would split everything 50-50 in the event of a divorce, and she agreed that would be fine.

When they arrived, they told Harry the big news and he congratulated them. He had something to share as well. He had opened up his own side business: a security guard service. Harry knew Ron was unhappy at his current job and offered to pay for his upcoming wedding if he would come work for him as a security guard. Ron verbally agreed. They chatted for an hour about the good old times chasing you-know-who, finished up their beers and went home.

On the way out, Harry saw Ron and Hermione’s car outside—the beat up pile of muggle junk Ron’s father gave them. Harry thought he would surprise Ron and Hermione and work on fixing it, without telling either of them. He did so over the coming weeks. Just as Harry was putting the final touches on the car, Ron got into an argument with Harry over a quidditch match. Consequently, Harry refused to pay for the wedding and wanted to be reimbursed for the repairs he made on the car.

Ron then sued Harry.

What will they both argue? What will be the likely outcome? Provide legal justification for your answer.
