I've chosen the risk assessment method of brainstorming. The risk assessment method of brainstorming is described as being used to come up with many different ideas in a short time period. Brainstorming does not require the function of analyzing the ideas. Coming up with different ideas is the goal of brainstorming and participants in a group need to be aware of the importance of keeping the judgements of ideas till the brainstorming session comes to an end. Brainstorming can be performed in three ways: structured brainstorming, free-form brainstorming and silent brainstorming. This method is performed by writing the topic or issue on a blackboard so that all participants can view it. After choosing the form of brainstorming to be used, all ideas are written on the board with very little editing, and each idea is numbered for future reference.

The company that I am using for my final project could utilize this risk assessment method in all aspects of the organization in their efforts to problem solve as well as building on a topic. The teaching staff meets frequently, and this method can be used to generate ideas of addressing student behavior issues. The Instructional Leader can also use the brainstorming method with the teaching staff to generate ideas of how to get parent involvement.
