Read the following Issue:

A single mother is struggling to make financial ends meet for herself and her infant daughter and unable to make enough money. Without any family or other resources, she is constantly at the brink of complete destitution and fears for the health and well-being of her child. She is also pregnant with a second child and worries that she is running out of options for survival. She comes up with several resourceful ideas to try to resolve the situation--at least temporarily:

She wants to sell several of her body-organs online to customers in need of organ-transplants.

She wants to sell sex online to wealthy men willing to pay her price and meet her terms.

She wants to sell her second child, when it is born, to a wealthy couple who agree to meet with her and demonstrate their competence as parents. She would have had to put this child up for adoption anyway.

Is this mother acting morally? Should the State prevent her from doing any of these things?

Now choose TWO (2) (Mill, Locke, or Marx) thinkers and/or theories from the text and briefly outline what you think the respective view of each thinker /theory would be on this Discussion topic.

Critique each thinker/theory's view and determine which (if either) is more effective in this situation.

Explain which of these views on this topic you agree with more and why? What do you think about the issue?

Your research paper should include:

Use at least three sources (including the textbook, if you wish).

Consist of at least 600-750 words not including title page, works cited page, etc.

Paraphrase or use quotation, citation, and reference for your sources.

May adhere to APA style.
