Then decide whether you are for or against the following statement:

"Publically-funded housing for working-class citizens should still be an explicit goal of politicians in dense urban centers of the United States."

Once you have decided on a position, in favor or against, write a short essay that persuades others to adopt your position.

In Part #1: DESCRIBE what needs public housing was supposed to solve during the postwar period.

In Part #2: ANALYZE who is primarily responsible for providing affordable housing for working-class citizens.

Should it be the responsibility of private developers, governmental leaders, or individual citizens?

Is there any way for these parties to share in the burden of providing affordable housing for everyone?
